Since the 1950s, Dualit offer a range of small appliances, starting with toasters, coffee machines, kettles and more recently, an air fryer. The newer ranges are “designed in Britain” and made elsewhere, probably China – but they do make a range of toasters here in the UK.
Toasters
Dualit’s “Classic” toaster range are hand-made in the UK at their factory in Crawley, West Sussex.
The toasters are available in a range of sizes (2-6 slices), various colours and have the name of the assembler on the bottom of the unit, very nice. Another good-to-know is that if anything should go wrong, then these toaster are fully repairable.
Admittedly the Classic toasters are priced at a premium, but they get excellent reviews and have won many awards for build-quality and performance.
